Abstract
Accountants interested in specializing in financial planning will have to choose from among several routes towards establishing their credentials in the field. They may take the certified financial planner examinations or apply for personal financial specialist status. They may also seek to become chartered financial consultants or register with the SEC as an investment counsellor.
