Abstract
An attempt has been made to integrate concepts in the fields of cultural psychology, ethology/primatology and developmental psychology in a coherent model on cultural learning. Problems inherent in this model based on cultural, biological and human ontological perspectives are identified as well as the deficiencies in the model's dynamic processes. Point-by-point responses to these problems are presented. Although the model is admittedly only partially successful, it still represents a productive cross-disciplinary approach to the problems of behavioral and brain sciences.
