Abstract
An easy microscale synthesis can be used to teach chemistry students how a small change of ligands in a complex can determine the NMR spectrum pattern. Interest in application of such complexes in synthesis of tumor-seeking drugs for boron neutron capture therapy and in preparing ceramics and polymers has led to use of two o-carborane derivatives.
