Abstract
A thesis on whether Christianity is sacrificial or antisacrificial is presented. The study emphasises that true christian worship lies not in acts of ritual and liturgical worship but in practical and ethical aspect of everyday christian life. Sacrifice is best exemplified by living a life of virtue and having a well defined mission that is directed towards Christian service that is carried out unceasingly.
