In an interview Camillo Wilson describes his first encounter with a PC and with EasyWriter, a word processing program that crashed three times in the first day. Wilson determined to write his own word processor instead of the book he had contracted for, and VolksWriter was the result. Ease of learning and use are VolksWriter's greatest strengths. There have been three versions, the most recent being the International 1.2 plus translation tables. The next step will probably be a parallel product with a spelling checker and junk mail facility. In the future perhaps concepts can be integrated into word processing.
