Nowadays acetabular revision arthroplasty is usually performed with dedicated cementless devices, that allow easy and reproducible techniques of reimplantation. Cemented impaction grafting still should keep belonging to modern hip surgeon's culture as it permits to deal with moderate bone losses with good expectations of tissue reconstruction. Low costs and noticeable results induce us to recommend its knowledge and application in less severe acetabular loosenings.
