In this paper we will investigate the challenges encountered when students from JHJ attempted to jointly complete a web design project with a web design class at Southern Leyte State University-Thomas Opus in the Philippines. The goal was to provide our students with access to international students to experience the different challenges that occur when working with people in a global environment. As the case will show, many challenges were encountered, both culturally and technologically. Ultimately these challenges were too difficult to overcome at this time to complete the project successfully, however valuable lessons were learned through the process.
