The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, thermal analysis (TG, DSC/DTA, and TG-FTIR) and X-ray analysis. During recrystallization, single crystals of [Co.sub.2(C.sub.6H.sub.6O.sub.4).sub.2(H.sub.2O).sub.3] and [Cu(C.sub.6H.sub.6O.sub.4)H.sub.2O] were obtained.
