Abstract
Researchers have sequenced the pEA29 plasmid form Erwinia amylovora, which causes fire blight of plants in the Rosaceae family. The plasmid contains 13 open reading frames encoding proteins similar to other bacterial proteins, 2 open reading frames encoding hypothetical proteins found in GenBank and 6 open reading frames encoding proteins not found in GenBank.
