Abstract
Eighteen hydrogen bonds bound together six molecules of a cyclic CA3.M3 rosette compound, whose x-ray structure was determined. The CA3.M3 rosette exhibited a lower stability in chloroform than the supramolecular aggregate hub M3:3barbital. Intermolecular interactions preferred the formation of the cyclic CA3.M3 rosette to that of linear hydrogen-bonded motifs.
