Abstract
The common limitation of the reported universal linkers is that the release of oligonucleotides requires prolonged heating with concentrated ammonium hydroxide or it occurs under orthogonal conditions. On treatment with aqueous ammonium hydroxide, the oligonucleotides are quantitatively released with favorable kinetics.
