Abstract
Friction-based criteria are examined to prevent occupational slip-and-fall accidents. These include walking on inclined or level surfaces; jumping, running, and stopping; stair climbing and descending; load carrying, pulling, pushing, and lifting; and mobility in disabled or elderly persons.
