Abstract
Computers increase efficiency and patient satisfaction by allowing physicians to spend more time to deal directly with patients' discomforts. Computerization also helps physicians save time and money by promoting order in office and hospital visits. An important contribution of computers is in recordkeeping because it allows physicians to compile patient records systematically. They also help physicians keep track of the elements of their practice such as payrolls and records efficiently.
