Abstract
Research evaluates the electron absorption spectra and the band-gap of the polymers 5,10-bis(2-thienyl)indeno-[2,1-a]indene and 1,4-bis(2-thienyl)buta-1,3-diene and find no influence of structural rigidity on the band-gap.
