Abstract
Volunteers, especially senior ones, get burned out when expending their energies in many directions through they are in an excellent position to volunteer. Retired and Senior Volunteer Program project coordinator Melanie Berte, said volunteers tire not because of lack of commitment but often because of too much of it and also to emotional involvement. One of the measures to avoid burnout is making a list of questions for the coordinator which could include job description.
