A Genre Study on North Korea Film Min, Byung-wook This study says that how important film art is at North Korea Art in terms of genre position and the special character and genre system of film Art and the peculiarity of subordinate genre. The result can be summarizing as follows. 1) North Korea Film Art is on the basis of modern science technology and show us human's life through screen without space and time constraint. 2) North Korea film Art is a composite Art which is combined with a play art and music on the basis of film literature and a means which is enlighting people by reflecting on real life. 3) North Korea film Art can be classified as indicated below. ① According to Figure-Object or Figure-Means, Art film how to use skill, Art Film, Documentary Film, Science Film, Children Film. ② According to volume or size, a long film, a midium film, a short film. ③ According to scenery colour and size, Black and White Film, Technicolor Film, a narrow range film, a wide range film, a three dimensional film, a telerecording, Videotape Film. 4) The problem at North Korea Film Art's genre classification is to follow world literature Art. Film Art, Film Literature, the description method of film are made concept by the Labour Party of North Korea's literature policy and artificial control in genre change. It regard spectator as passive creature of the Party. 5) North Korea Film Art cannot get out of 'Juche Literature Art', 'Juche Realism Film'. It is regarded as 'Juche genre film' and substitute Juche's logic for Capital logic and Juche's humane studies for creating interests.
