Abstract
The objective of this paper is to improve the industrial activation of Korean medical tourism through the analysis of the actual situation of Chinese tourists of medical tourism in Korea. First, the concept of Korean medical tourism was defined, and then the current situation including the medical disputes was investigated and analyzed. The investigation was carried out through the satisfaction questionnaire of Chinese medical tourists in Korea. Four conclusions were summarized in this study based on the inferential statistics for satisfaction. First, for the Korea medical visiting aiming at beauty, the satisfaction would be influenced by the subsequent service. Secondly, it is different that the replies of these respondents to the reason of choosing the Korea as the targeted country, which depends on the excellence of physicians, safety afterwards, medical sightseeing services, extra-medical service and other factors. Third, there is no correlation between pre-expectation and post-satisfaction of Chinese medical tourists visiting Korea in China. Finally, medical tourists have different medical disputes duo to the diversity of the cause of injury, thereinto, the pain during the plastic operation and the discontent of the plastic effect are two most serious factors for the dissatisfaction, which is necessary to distinguish the two factors. In this paper, efforts were made in the activation of local autonomous regions and medical institutions. Also, suggestion and countermeasures were proposed for the medical experts training and the elimination of illegal medical practices, which were favor for medical services afterwards, advanced medical management and so on.
