Abstract
The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of population migration in Japan on regional industrial structure. analysis focused on population migration, determining the cause and effect by the increase and decrease of industrial production rates. the conclusion is as follows First, it turns out that salary plays an important role in the factors of population migration. the correlation between population movement and payment is shown to be a strong proportional relation, and the labor productivity is shown to be influential to payment levels. which confirms that the theoretical causality exists. Secondly, excess population inflow in the Tokyo Economic Sphere in the Tokyo Economic Zone, the Nagoya Economic Area, and the Osaka Area is overwhelmingly high . Although this also represents the economic function of the city, cultural and social factors also act as a cause of population inflow. Third, population migration is not proportional to the increase in industrial production. In the retail industry, products (manufacturing industry), services, agriculture fields set for analysis in this research, regional disparities were found to be large due to geographical conditions and economic environment. Through the above analysis, we confirmed that the regional economy is largely affected by geographical conditions and economic environment. This can be interpreted as the fact that the industry in the Tokyo economic zone enters demand saturation and the company`s productivity is weakening. It may cause economic downturn. In order to overcome this, research on new demand creation and technical development are required.
