Abstract
This study identified the capabilities of Korean-Chinese students among the theological majors who hope to become pastors, and identified the capabilities through literature research for them. The reason for this is the difficulties Korean-Chinese students are facing. Korean-Chinese students studying at domestic universities face three difficulties. The first is college life itself. Although they are already using Korean and have passed the Korean language proficiency test to enter a Korean university, there is a sense of alienation that they feel while living in college with Korean students. As a result, there are unavoidable difficulties. The second difficulty is the difficulty in university classes. In the first year, it was mainly liberal arts classes, so there was no great difficulty, but from the second year, I took major classes, and now, in the third year, I have to read books related to major classes, listen to the specialized terms mentioned in professor’s lectures, and understand them. There are many difficulties. Finally, the third difficulty is economic. The economic difficulties Korean-Chinese students have is the difficulty in the part where students themselves have to pay for tuition and living expenses. Among these difficulties of Korean-Chinese students, the focus of this study is to provide basic data for research on how to teach Korean-Chinese students who have difficulties in their major classes.
