Abstract
This study aimed to verify the effect of transcranial Direct Current Stimulation(tDCS) on improving their concentration and performance for elite archery athletes. Seventeen archers who enrolled in K-university were participated in this study and all subjects were randomly assiged to tDCS and Sham groups by using 2×2 cross over design. A current of 2 mA was applied to tDCS group and Sham group for 20 min and 40 seconds, respectively. Archery scores for 10 shots, Global rating of Change (GRC) scale for subjective evaluation of their performance and Psychological Skill Questionnaire in Sport (PSQS) for their concetration were assessed before and after applying current stimulation. There were no differences between the tDCS and Sham groups in archery scores, PSQS and GRC sacle.
