Abstract
This paper considers how reading mythology can become a means of restoration of humanity in the digital age. Today, as man continuously and relentlessly destroys the earth, we hear the groaning of the "Earth, first of the gods." Greek mythology gives us the perspective to see what our beginnings were like, where we are now and what the final destiny of our world will be like. We are reminded of that Hephaestos, the smith god, could not be victorious until his marriage with Aphrodite is fulfilled. This marriage was only possible with the help of Dionysus. Aphrodite represents natural beauty; Hephaestos, metal working and craft today we might say manufacturing and technology. In Ancient Greece, Dionysus, together with Aphrodite, represented the earth's life force. What was true of Daidalos or Hephaestos in Greek mythology, is also true of the modern technocrats who run our world. 【Key Words】mythology, Daidalos,
