Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of health promotion exercise with MBSR on the level of mindfulness, stress response, and musculoskeletal chronic pain in middle aged man and women. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, 19 experimental groups and 18 control groups were randomly assigned to deal with the 8 week program at the H Exercise Healing Center in Y city From November 2019 to January 2020. They were compared by measuring the mental care, stress response, and musculoskeletal pain of each group (experimental group, control group) according to the period of treatment (pre, 8 weeks). Based on the results derived from the research methods and procedures established in this study, the following conclusions were obtained. First, the level of mindfulness of the experimental group applying the 8 weeks program significantly increased after 8 weeks of treatment compared to the control group. Second, the stress response level of the experimental group applied with the 8 weeks program significantly decreased after 8 weeks of treatment compared to the control group. Third, the musculoskeletal chronic pain of the experimental group applying the 8 week program was significantly reduced after 8 weeks of treatment compared to the control group.
