Abstract
The annual paid holidays is a system that not only guarantees work-life balance, but also guarantees rest and can be actively used to reduce actual working hours. However, the usage rate of annual paid holidays is not high, so institutional and cultural improvement is needed. The system should be activated by ensuring the effectiveness of the exercise of rights and ensuring proper rest to improve the perception of annual paid holidays. In order to improve the annual paid holidays system, it is necessary to first change the basic structure of annual holidays conducted with the application of workers and the permission of users. Annual paid holidays not used by workers should be granted by the user within a certain period of time, or the procedure and method of the right to change the time should be specified. In addition, it is necessary to increase awareness and utilization of annual holidays by institutionalizing long-term holidays and institutionalizing the contents of various vacation rights. In addition, through the improvement of the annual paid vacation promotion system and the monetary compensation system, workers should be able to actually use vacation, and the nature of rest guarantee, not the nature of labor compensation, should be strengthened. And it is necessary to review the issue of annual paid holidays and compensation due to the activation of smart work in the future.
