The most of human spaces have powder fire extinguishers, and if the size of the fire is small, the occupants try to extinguish the fire by using the extinguisher. Therefore, the extinguishing powder that is found at the fire scene after the fire is the evidence of location where the fire extinguishing was attempted. And it may can be used as a circumstantial evidence for the fire origin of the fire. In this case study is for new forensic interpretation of extinguishing powder and reporting of the case which the powder of ABC extinguisher were changed at the color and agglomeration by the contact with thinner. And we also considered the possibility of that the change can prove the fire origin and the presence of petroleum at the arson scene.
