Abstract
The Anthology of Eight Giants of the Tang-Song include poems by Li Bai, Du Fu, Wei Ying-wu, Liu Zongyuan, Ouyangxiu, Wang Anshi, Su Shi and Huang Tingjian. The Eight Masters of the Tang-Song refer to Han Yu, Liu Zongyuan, Ouyang Xiu, Su Xun, Su Shi, Wang Anshi, Zeng Gong, etc. The Anthology of Eight Giants of the Tang-Song are excellent in both quality and study, which is completely different from the eight masters of prose. In the field of poetry, it refers to the eight masters who have been used since the late Song Dynasty. However, Wei Ying-wu replaced Han Yu in Eight Poems of the Tang-Song. This is because Han Yu used a large number of rare characters, wrote some strange poems, and pursued a new artistic realm. According to the selection criteria and the features of the poems, we can think that Tang poetry and Song poetry are both emphasized, especially the poems that embody the style of Tang poetry. These can be verified by the selection criteria and the characteristics of poems in Selected Poems of the Anthology of Eight Giants of Tang-Song. The Selected Poems of the Anthology of Eight Giants of Tang-Song fully respect the poet's personality and include poems that meet the needs of the library. The Selected Poems of the Anthology of Eight Giants of the Tang-Song combine three kinds of modern poems, namely, five-yield, seven-yield and seven-character quatrain. Anpyeong-gun and Jiphyeonjeon scholars used the name "Samchesi" to promote poetics in line with the reality of Joseon at that time. In addition to the Santishi, also included Yuefu poetry, including ancient poetry and contemporary poetry metrical poetry.
