Abstract
This study conducted an empirical analysis of female college students using a questionnaire to find out the effect of the psychological change experience caused by COVID-19 on the makeup behavior of female college students. Factor analysis was used to derive factors of psychological change experience caused by COVID-19 and cosmetic behavior factors after COVID-19, and Pearson's correlation analysis was used to verify the relationship between factors. In addition, multiple linear regression analysis was used to verify the effect of variable by factor. To this end, 224 copies of the questionnaire were statistically analyzed using the SPSS/PASW Statistics Ver. 18.0 program. As a result of the study, the psychological change experience factors caused by COVID-19 were extracted as relief, expectation, anxiety, and depression, and the cosmetic behavior factors after COVID-19 were extracted as others-oriented, change suitable for me, relationship-oriented, and trend-seeking. Relief and expectation showed a positive (+) correlation between anxiety and others, changes suitable for me, trend-seeking, and depression showed a positive (+) correlation between anxiety and others, changes suitable for me, relationship orientation, trend-seeking, and positive (+). In addition, other people's orientation showed a positive (+) correlation with relationship orientation, trend pursuit, and changes suitable for me showed a positive (+) correlation with relationship orientation and trend pursuit. Due to the effect of psychological change experience on makeup behavior, relief, expectation, depression, and anxiety affected other-oriented makeup behavior and trend-seeking makeup behavior. This study aims to provide basic data for the continuous development of the cosmetics industry in the Pandemic situation, and continuous research on cosmetic behavior in the Pandemic situation is needed to generalize the derived results.
