Abstract
[Purpose] The purpose of this study was the influence of employee’s voice behavior by leadership type. So to verify the effects on the mediating variable of psychological empowoerment of employees. [Methodology] For verification the purpose of this study established the variable as followings; First, the independence variable established the transformational leadership and coaching leadership. Second, the result variable established the employee’s constructive voice behavior. Third, the mediating variable established the employee’s psychological empowerment. To investigate the variable inter-relationship used the regression analysis and bootstrap analysis. For this study conduct a questionnaire survey of 120' corporate employees who had worked in K and I city. [Findings] The results of this study were as follows: First, as a result of regression analysis to find out positive effects of leadership type to the employee’s voice behavior. Especially, the influence of transformational leadership is high. Second, it tested the influence of mediating variable by the psychological empowerment. But, only the indirect effect of empowerment is recognized in coaching leadership. [Implications] This study confirms the positive role of leader humility, which has recently received increasing attention, and emphasizes its importance. In addition, by suggesting realistic ways to improve organizational performance due to the leader's humility, it is expected to contribute to establishing a strategy that can maintain the emotional and physical health of organizational members and secure the organization's competitiveness.
