Abstract
Recently, generative AI technology has been actively used in the field of culture and arts. New cultural and artistic content can be created through generative AI technology, and these characteristics can also be usefully utilized in the field of art education using AI. Compared to traditional music education, generative AI-based music education enables personalized learning based on interactive characteristics and can provide creative and original music experiences to learners. In this paper, we constructed a practical music composition education program using generative AI technology, analyzed its effectiveness, and examined the educational effectiveness of the proposed program. Study participants expressed high satisfaction with the content and quality of education and responded positively to creative education methods using generative AI technology. The results of the study showed that the use of generative AI technology can have a positive impact on cultural arts convergence education and can play an important role in improving learners' creative thinking and musical expression.
