Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine a mediating role of self-management in relationship between the perceived coach-athlete behavior fit and burnout. To achieve this goal, Male College Wrestling Athletes for participants(N=125) completed the questionnaires of the coach-athlete behavior fit, self-management, and burnout. SPSS 21.0 was used to analyze the descriptive statistics, correlations, and AMOS 18 was carried out confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation modeling analysis. The results were shown that the coach-athlete behavior fit were positively predicted in self-management, however coach-athlete behavior fit negatively did not predicted in burnout. Also, self-management were positively predicted in burnout. In addition, slef-management was found to have a full mediating effect on the coach-athlete behavior fit and burnout. The results of this study may proviode useful information for both coach and sport psychology consultants to prevent from athletsʼ burnout and enhance performance.
