The value of blockchain in international business lies in the realization of digital international business. Blockchain, cryptocurrency, and smart contracts are particularly important research topics in the field of international business, as they enable digital international business, breaking away from traditional international business that gave large multinational companies a monopoly competitive advantage. This study identified 1,547 keywords from 374 papers and analyzed the keyword networks using Netminer. The main results of analyzing the degree centrality and betweenness centrality of keywords are as follows. Studies on blockchain in the field of international business have mainly dealt with the problem of using blockchain and smart contract technology for trade and supply chain management, and overcoming the constraints of the institutional environment in relation to cryptocurrency and contracts. In terms of industries, research has focused on finance, healthcare, and innovation industries, and in terms of business activities, research has centered on supply, production, and payments. As cases of using blockchain technology in international business accumulate in companies in the future, more diverse industries, business activities, and issues of institutional environment should be discussed.
