Abstract
The switched reluctance motor characters multiple variables, significant coupling effect, and complex non-linear system carry many difficulties. A linear and quasi-linear model cannot be used to design and test controllers with strictly control performance requirements. In this paper, based on the two-phase switched reluctance motor non-linear mathematical model and the basic operating equation, a simplified non-linear mathematical model of switched reluctance motor is studied, which interpolates and fits the middle position curve based on two characteristic magnetic chain curves of the aligned and nonaligned positions of the modelled stator and rotor. The improvement method and asymmetry correction method are explored based on the asymmetry caused by the non-uniform air gap between the stator and the rotator. Finite element simulation data are used to analyse the results of the interpolation fit method to verify the rationality and accuracy of the interpolation fit method.
