Abstract
This paper analyzes and prospects about the application and development of some new key Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools, at present and in the future, integrated in a new common platform, to improve costs, health and safety in offshore renewable energy infrastructure logistics process, installation tasks and maintenance operations. The development of new tools to apply to logistics is a key factor for reaching different strategic goals: costs reduction, productivity, level of service and quality increments, health and safety procedures consecution, and low emissions and low environmental impact of processes. On the other hand, it is important to measure the validity of new ICT tools to be developed, attending to integrability and interoperability criteria under a common service platform for different technologies and applications. Authors of this paper are members of Conceptual KLT (coordinator), Mundivía and Instituto de Hidráulica Ambiental de Cantabria, involved as consortium in TELMAR project (Technology and Logistics for Marine Renewable).
