Abstract
In this paper, we present a new method to approx-imate electrically large Green's function by a reduced set of parameters. Using this new method, we can compress electrically large integral operators in a simple and effective manner. The compression has a reduced complexity of O(kn) for a dense matrix of size n and rank k, as compared to existing techniques that can cost O(n 3 ) or O(k 2 n). Meanwhile, the accuracy is theo-retically guaranteed. Numerical experiments have demonstrated its accuracy and effectiveness.
