Abstract
A circular loop antenna array system has been successfully developed for short-range large-capacity communication and power charging, where both orbital angular momentum (OAM) four-value multiplexing communication at the 5-GHz band and wireless power transfer (WPT) at the megahertz band are simultaneously realized. To improve WPT efficiency, a spiral reflector was applied instead of a normal reflector plane. In this fabricated system, a WPT efficiency of 82.6% was achieved at 41 MHz, while keeping four-value multiplexing OAM communication at 5.23 GHz.
