Abstract
A new approach of square slot element combination is proposed to design a coplanar waveguide (CPW)-fed circularly-polarized antenna. The proposed antenna has 91% 10-dB impedance bandwidth (1.16-3.25 GHz) and 3-dB Axial Ratio (AR) of 94% (1.2-3.24 GHz). The compact size and ease of fabrication, makes the proposed antenna a good candidate for various multifunctional communication applications.
