Abstract
In order to overcome the problems of low efficiency and poor service quality in web service composition optimization methods, an improved Glowworm Swarm Optimization (IGSO) algorithm is proposed. Considering the subjective feeling of users, flexible intervals are introduced to describe the user's QoS requests in this paper. In IGSO, elite guidance strategy is adopted, with the global information introduced during the location-update phase to accelerate the searching speed, which can effectively overcome the shortcomings appeared in traditional Glowworm Swarm Optimization (GSO). Simulation results show that IGSO has better convergence and stability than traditional GSO, and a better optimistic effect is achieved.
