A right coprime factorization of feedback linearizable systems

Abstract
This work focuses on the computation of right coprime factorization for nonlinear plants that have a state-space description and which are input-to-state linearizable. For these plants there exist two factorizations in the literature: one is based on the Bezout identity, while the other is not. Here we present a factorization inspired by Verma-Hunt (1993), but the result also satisfy the Bezout identity. Thus connections between the two approaches are apparent in this case. Our technique is based on the Bezout maps obtained in the linear map resulting from the linearization.
