Abstract
A hybrid Data Forwarding algorithm is proposed for enhancing the lifetime of WSNs. The energy efficient approach for clustered WSN to perform the Data aggregation based forwarding methodology is the objective of this paper. It consists of the data aggregation technique to minimize the dimensionality using the enhanced method. The forwarding technique is implemented using the measurement of the distance. The proposed method is simulated using OMNeT++ simulator to process the sensed information from the sensor nodes in the real WSN. The simulation results prove that the proposed method minimizes the energy consumption and enhancing the network lifetime compared with the related techniques and quality of transmission through the sink node.
