Abstract
PIM(passive intermodulation) is a common phenomenon taking place in non-linear passive microwave components. In this paper, we revisit two relevant algorithms – Inverse k-space Fourier transform for wideband cases and Matrix Pencil for both narrowband and wideband, which are both effective for single- or multi-point PIM source localization. Based on existing narrowband architecture, we proposed high-power and wide-band PIM localization system via carrier suppression operating in a wide range from 0.7GHz to 2.3GHz. It provides a testing platform in alleviating the probable impacts of PIM in high-power microwave system, eventually.
