Abstract
Dual Active Bridge (DAB) regulated through the single phase shift (SPS) mode employing output voltage for the generation of phase shift is presented in this paper. The efficiency of DAB is diminished due to non unity turns ratio of the high frequency transformer (HFT) so the optimized duty ratio is required for efficient converter operation. A voltage based controller is utilized for obtaining the converter operating zone. The output voltage controlled dual active bridge is studied in MATLAB and satisfactory performance is obtained.
