Abstract
Much of a spherical Luneberg-lens reflector’s electrical performances over half of its angular coverage can be reached by a hemispherical Luneberg-lens reflector, mounting on a reflective ground plane. In this paper, a circularly polarized hemispherical lens reflector working on the frequency band of 7.5~18GHz is proposed, which has a low profile, small axial ratio and wide scanning angle. To provide two signals with the same amplitude and orthometric phases, a UWB 3dB coupler in form of cross coupled stripline with continuously tapered structure is introduced too.
