Abstract
In view of the problem of relative lack of insulation protection above the workers in the current non-power outage operation of the distribution network, a design and installation method of a safety barrier dome on a pole is introduced. By limiting the vertical movement range of the workers on the pole, the safety barrier below, the scope of both activities of workers and the use of tools should always maintain a certain safe distance from the upper-level live objects, in order to ensure the safety of the operation and avoid the occurrence of electric shock casualties, in which workers accidentally touch the upper-level charged body. The safety barrier dome on this pole has good insulation performance. After being reinstalled, it is very strong with excellent wind resistance, which can meet the needs of most working scenarios.
