Abstract
In order to compensate for the failure of the Color Adjacency Network Model to take into account consumers' emotional expectations in the process of color selection and coloring in enterprises, an eye-tracking experiment was employed to explore the mapping relationship between color and semantics. Additionally, color semantics were introduced as a novel criterion and seamlessly integrated into the evaluation phase of the enhanced Color Adjacency Network Model. This innovative method amalgamates color semantics, bridging the gap and compensating for the oversight pertaining to consumer expectations. By transforming consumers' ambiguous sensory demands into tangible product design elements, this approach provides designers with an intuitive aid, particularly when devising color schemes for motorcycle artwork. Its effectiveness has been substantiated, underscoring the validity of the proposed methodology.
