Abstract
In this latter, a planar broadband miniaturized antenna with integrated metasurface is proposed. Three resonance modes are introduced to achieve a wide band, which can be used for LTE/5G bands. The proposed antenna contains dipoles, metasurface, coaxial cables, microstrip lines, and a metallic reflection box. The integrated metasurface is composed of eight opening loop units above the dipoles, activating the third resonance at high frequency. All radiation elements are integrated on the same substrate, so this simple manufacturing planar antenna can be used for many purposes. At the same time, the height of the proposed antenna was reduced to 0.18λ 0 (λ 0 is the wavelength in free space at the center operating frequency). The simulation results show that the proposed antenna has a wide impedance bandwidth of 79.5% (2.2-5.1 GHz) for VSWR
