Abstract
Bi 2 WO 6 and Bi 4 MoO 9 were synthesized by the hydrothermal method. The photoanode of Bi 2 WO 6 and Bi 4 MoO 9 were used in the Doctor-blade method. The samples were characterized by using field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), photoelectrochemical (PEC) measurements, Mott-Schottky analysis, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). It was found that the diameter depended on Nitric acid, the studied materials showed a different photoelectrochemical response. Based on PEC measurements the BWO-pH7 photoanode is greater than the PECs of BWO-pH7-N, BMO-pH-7, and BMO-pH-7-N.
