Abstract
The safe and stable operation of power grids is an important guarantee for maintaining the harmonious and stable development of society and improving people's living standards. As the power grid hub that undertakes the important task of gathering and distributing electric energy, substations are currently researched generally for the calculation of risk indexs and analysis of weak links in the main wiring of the substation, without considering the risks of the regional power grid. Therefore, through the construction of grid severity index and load loss index, this paper carries out risk assessment method for the combined system including the substation and the regional power grid, and proposes a method for evaluating the weak link of substation based on the grid risk severity indexs. The results show that compared with the traditional method, the method described in this article can take into account the influence of power grid on the weak link of substation, and the evaluation results obtained are more conservative, which provides a new idea for the evaluation of the weak link of substation.
