Abstract
As the automotive market expands and evolve, more electrical engineering challenges occurs when it comes to study the implications of technology usage in daily life. While there is a constantly evolving frequency of presence of electric vehicles (EVs) that depends on alternating current (AC) power supplies, more specifically, on AC (three-phase) charging systems, there may be no doubts of an increased demand for extended possibilities for studying and diagnosis of these systems, while they are easy to understand, maintained and improved. For this need, it is proposed a virtual instrument that can be adopted in education, maintenance services and research, as LabVIEW software environment provides simulation capabilities among strong features for potentially monitoring of power quality in AC (three-phase) charging systems, being an excellent choice for the targeted appliances.
