Abstract
In this paper, we demonstrate the Ag/PEDOT: PSS/ZnO Quantum Dot/ITO p-n junction based UV photodetector. ZnO quantum dot synthesized using a colloidal synthesis method. Finally, Ag/PEDOT: PSS/ZnO Quantum Dot/ITO p-n junction is investigated for electrical and optical characteristics using 1mm dot of Ag metal electrode. The study of Ag/PEDOT: PSS/ZnO Quantum Dot/ITO p-n junction based UV photodetector is investigated in terms of I-V characteristics under the dark condition and with a monochromator light at a wavelength of 375 nm with a power density $43 \mu w /$cm2. It is found that the conventional fabricated photodetector device using PEDOT: PSS and ZnO Quantum Dot based p-n junction has a good electrical and optical performance.
