Abstract
In the recent years, interest in the use of robotics has grown in the various sectors. Automation in the various sectors, starting from process to packing is achieved in few sectors of food industries. It is proposed to introduce automation in the bakery which is the sale point. In the existing method, demand for workers in these days is huge. Workers may spread diseases or infection to the customers through the food items or while in person to person contact at the bakery/stores. This paper aims to develop a mobile application which will receive the orders from the customer and an automated storage setup. The mobile application has been developed to collect the items and the quantities customer requires and these data are sent to the firebase from where the micro controller receives the order details. By collecting the requirements of the customer, the robot will start packing the items for the customer needs. The automated storage unit is made up of a sliding door which will be accessed automatically. The sliding door of the particular unit will be opened when the robotic arm is going to access it. The robotic arm will scoop the spicy snack item from the storage unit and it will transfer them to the packaging box. Under the packaging box a load sensor is used to monitor the packaging weight. When the packaging weight gets equal to the customers need quantity, the packaging box is sent to the delivery section from where the customers can pick up their orders. Hence by considering the drawbacks in the existing method, this proposed work provides solution to the above said problem.
