Abstract
In recent years, urban ground collapse accidents have occurred frequently, posing a threat to the safety of human production and life. Effective risk assessment is of great significance for the arrangement of urban road collapse prevention and control work. Focusing on the actual geological conditions and urban construction characteristics, this paper uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to evaluate the collapse risk of urban roads in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou. Synchronously, Dongfeng Road and Huanshi Road within the jurisdiction were selected as typical cases. Subsequently, based on the results of road risk assessment and GIS spatial analysis technology, the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) was used to conduct a comprehensive regional evaluation of road collapse risk in Yuexiu District. The further results show that Guangta Street is the most affected, while Baiyun Street is the least, exhibiting a noticeable risk difference. Comprehensive comparison of the actual data status, the results are generally consistent with the actual situation of Yuexiu District. Compared with existing evaluation methods, the model constructed in this study innovatively extends the microscopic road risk assessment to macroscopic regional risk evaluation and provides support for road collapse risk prevention and control in the regional dimension.
